Paws Most Wanted believes our pets deserve to live healthier, happier, and longer lives. We are a group of caring pet professionals and nutritionists with a mission to seek out pet products that are safe, effective, and affordable. To accomplish our mission, we only partner with companies that share the same philosophy as us.
John Houck is one of the co-founders of Paws Most Wanted. It all started one day when a stray injured Pit Bull found her way to our home. After taking her in our home and doing the best we could to care for her, she did not make it through the night. She had no identification and no way for us to find out where she came from and where her home was. We never saw her before in the neighborhood. To this day we believe she was sent to us for a reason. A reason bigger than us.
From that day on, we have been dedicated and determined to help as many pets as possible.
Often a caring individual finds a lost or homeless dog or cat in their neighborhood and temporarily takes the animal into their home in hopes of either finding the owner or a new home. This can lead to frustration as it takes time and dedication to find a suitable home for these homeless friends. Using a network of other animal advocates, we provide help and resources for temporary foster families to find a permanent home for a stray or lost animal.
Have you found a lost dog or cat and cannot find the owner but don’t want to leave them to fend for themselves? Has life taken you in a direction where you are unable to keep or take care of your pet?
If you have a dog or cat that you are trying to re-home, do not send him or her to the shelter.
